Emil Yanakiev KAPUDALIEV


Born on July 24, 1941 in Varna. Married, has one son.

Completed high school in Varna 1959. Graduated in Acting from the National Academy for Theatrical and Film Arts - "Krastyo Sarafov" 1967, and in Philosophy and Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" 1977. Actor in the drama theaters in Varna - 1967, and Vidin - 1968. Film director in the Bulgarian National Television 1969-91. Foundation-member and chair of the Union of the Bulgarian National TV Staff 1989-91.

Member of the Radical Democratic Party (within UDF) since 1989. Coordinator of the Radical Democratic Party (RDP) 1989-90. Member of the Executive Committee of the RDP 1991-93. Organizational secretary of the RDP since 1993. MP (elected in Vidin) in the 36th National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of UDF). Secretary of the Committee on Radio and Television in the 36th National Assembly. MP (elected in Vidin) in the 37th National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of UDF).
