Completed high school in Ruse 1940. Graduated in Law from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" 1944. Assistant professor in Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" 1947. Dismissed for political reasons. General worker, later attorney until 1994. Lecturer in trade law 1990-92.
Chair of the National Club for Democracy (within UDF) since 1993. Member of the National Coordination Council of UDF since 1993. Minister of Justice 1991-92. Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria May-Dec.1992. MP (elected in Sofia) in the 37th National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of UDF). Deputy chair of the Parliamentary Group of UDF Nov. 1996 - Feb. 1997. Deputy chair of the Committee on the Structure and Work of the State Body in the 37th National Assembly.
