Anastasiya Georgieva Dimitrova-MOZER

Born on June 30, 1937 in Sofia. Married.

Completed the French language lyceum (as a private pupil) 1956. Emigrated to the USA, where her father was a political emigrant. Graduated in French Philology from Georgetown University, USA 1972. Ph.D. in Philology from Georgetown University, USA 1987. Collaborator at the World Bank, Washington 1966-71. Administrative collaborator at the Center for Ancient Greek Studies, Washington, USA, 1971-86. Editor, spokesperson, and author of programs in Voice of America radio station 1987-92.

Member of the Bulgarian National Committee, USA 1972-90. Member of BZNS-Nikola Petkov since 1990. Member of the Governing Council of BZNS-Nikola Petkov and BZNS since 1990. Secretary general of BZNS-Nikola Petkov since Nov. 1992 (re-elected. Oct. 1996). Co-chairman of the coalition People's Union-BZNS, Democratic Party since 1994. MP (elected in Plovdiv region) in the 37th National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of the People's Union-BZNS, Democratic Party). Co-chair of the Parliamentary Group of the People's Union in the 37th National Assembly. Member of the Bulgarian Parliament delegation in the North Atlantic Assembly.
