Born on March 15, 1938 in the village of Malevo, Haskovo municipality.
Convicted for political reasons, served time in various prisons 1955-56 and 1958-64. Completed high school in Kardjali 1965. Graduated in Bulgarian Philology, and later in History from Veliko Tarnovo University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" 1970. Student chess champion of Bulgaria 1968. Post-graduate studies in literature at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" 1986. Teacher at a primary school, a mining school and a construction school in Dimitrovgrad 1970-81. Teacher in Bulgarian language and literature in Haskovo and Kardjali 1981-89. Member of the Union of the Repressed since 1990. Member of the National Council of the Union of the Repressed since 1990. Member of the Executive Bureau of the Union of the Repressed 1991-93.
Member of BZNS. Chairman of the municipal board of BZNS in Haskovo 1990-Oct.1996. Member of the Governing Council of BZNS-NIkola Petkov and BZNS since 1990. Member of the Standing Committee and Organizational Secretary of BZNS-Nikola Petkov 1991-92. Member of the Standing Committee of BZNS 1995-96. Expelled from BZNS in Oct. 1996 for splitting activity. MP (elected in Haskovo) in the 37th National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of the People's Union-BZNS, Democratic Party).
