Krasimir Andreev PREMYANOV


Born on Jan. 27, 1955 in Burgas. Married, has two daughters.

Completed high school in Odessa, Ukraine 1972. Graduated in International Law from Odessa State University 1976, and in Politology from the Academy for Social Sciences in Moscow. Post-graduate studies at the Center for Management of Managerial Personnel at the Academy for Social Sciences and Social Management 1977. Trainee-judge in Varna District Court 1977. Secretary and first secretary of the Town Committee and the Regional Committee of Dimitrov's Comsomol Youth Union (DKMS) in Varna. Secretary of the Central Committee of DKMS 1978-87.

Member of BSP since 1976. Municipal councilor in Varna. Regional councilor in Varna. Member of the Executive Committee of the City Council and the Regional Council in Varna. Secretary of "Primorski" regional committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party in Varna 1987-90. Chief of the municipal pre-election center of BSP in Varna 1990. Member of the Supreme Council of BSP since 1990. Member of the Executive Bureau of the Supreme Council of BSP since 1994. Deputy chair of the Supreme Council of BSP 1994-96.

MP (elected in Varna) in the 7th Grand National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of BSP). Secretary of the Parliamentary Group of BSP in the 7th Grand National Assembly. MP (elected in Varna) in the 36th National Assembly (Parliamentary Union for Social Democracy). Deputy chair of the Parliamentary Union for Social Democracy. MP (elected in Varna) in the 37th National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Left). Chair of the PG of the Democratic Left in the 37th National Assembly 1995-Jan. 1997.
