Solomon Isak PASI

Born on Dec. 22, 1956 in Plovdiv. Married, has two sons and a daughter.

Completed high school in Sofia 1974. Graduated in Mathematics from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" 1979. Post-graduate studies in mathematical logic in Toulouse, France 1987. Ph.D. in Mathematics 1985. Assistant professor of mathematical logic and computer science at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics in Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Research associate 1st rank at the Institute of Mathematics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences 1984-94.

Member of the Green Party since 1989. Member of the Executive Bureau of the Green Party 1989-94. Spokesperson of the Green Party 1989-94. Member of the National Coordination Council of UDF 1990-91. Chairman of the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria since 1991. Foundation-member of the "B'nai B'rit" lodge in Sofia since 1992. Member of the Independent Society "Ecoglasnost" since 1989. Founder and member of the Bulgarian Wildlife Fund since 1989. Vice president of the international Atlantic Association since Nov. 1996. MP (elected in Sofia) in the 7th Grand National Assembly (Parliamentary UDF). Secretary of the Parliamentary Group of the Green Party (within the Parliamentary UDF) in the 7th Grand National Assembly.

Publications: scientific articles in the field of mathematical logic and computer science.
