Graduated from the University for Mining and Geology in Sofia 1967, and in Labor Economics from the University for National and World Economy in Sofia 1977. Worked in the system of social care since 1974. Expert on the problems of technical assistance for the disabled and for their labor departments. Consultant on labor issues in the Council of Ministers 1990. Lecturer in labor and social rehabilitation of the disabled and in theory and organization of the social activity at the Economic University of Varna and at Veliko Tarnovo University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". Member of the Board of Directors of the Agency for Foreign Aid since Oct. 1995. Chief of the National Center for Social Welfare.
