Born on Nov. 21, 1950 in the village of Makresh, Montana district. Married, has one child.

Graduated in Medicine from the Medical University in Sofia 1974. Post-graduate specialization in Internal Diseases and Cardiology 1975-82. Intern at an internal hospital ward 1982-85. Head of an intensive care section in a cardiology ward. Head of a cardiology ward in the United Regional Hospital in Vidin since 1985. Regional cardiologist of Vidin since 1982. District cardiologist of Montana district since 1988.

Member of BSP since 1977. Member of the Supreme Council of BSP. MP (elected in Vidin) in the 7th Grand National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of BSP). MP (elected in Vidin) in the 36th National Assembly (Parliamentary Union for Social Democracy). Deputy chair of the Committee on Health care in the 36th National Assembly. MP (elected in Vidin) in the 37th National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Left). Minister of Health Care Jan. 1995-Feb. 1997.
