Born on June 28, 1938 in the village of Vodenichane, Straldja municipality, Burgas district. Married, has two daughters.
Completed the Economics high school in Yambol 1956. Graduated in Law from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" 1970. Worked in "Darzhavno zemedelsko stopanstvo" ("State Agricultural Farm") in the village of Vodenichane 1956-57. Convicted for political reasons. Served time in the prison in Stara Zagora 1957-59 and 1961-63. Worked as miner in "Gorubso"-Momchilgrad 1963-66. Legal advisor in "Karierni materiali" (Stone Quarry - Materials), "ISS" and the Plant for Metal Cutting Machines in Sliven 1972-88. Attorney in Sliven 1988-95.
Member of BZNS since 1990. Member of the municipal governing body of BZNS in Sliven 1990-95. Chairman of the Coordination Council of UDF in Sliven 1990-91. Member of the Governing Council of BZNS-Nikola Petkov and BZNS since 1990. Member of the Standing Committee of BZNS since 1995. MP (elected in Sliven) in the 37th National Assembly (Parliamentary Group of the Peolpe's Union-BZNS, Democratic Party). Deputy chairman of the 37th National Assembly.
